  • Personal No Start Kill Switch

Hello V6ers and other as well. I would like to tinstall a switch that will not allow that car to start. You can turn on ignition but no cranking. I have a OhOne V6 Firebird A4. Any ideas on a simple effective place to wire the switch in. I can figure out the location of the switch. Thanks

I should add that there is no aftermarket alarm on the car just what came from the factory the remote keyless entry and the chip on the ignition key.

The link above describes a starter kill switch totaly seperate from a car alarm. You don't need any kind of alarm to do the that switch. Or you can follow the diagram there from the aftermarket alarm start kill switches.

I was fooling around with the idea a few days ago. I found that if you take the guage fuse out of the panel, the car won't turn over. I didn't get a chance to see how hard it would be to hook up a little toggle switch in line with the fuse, but I plan to soon.

if you put a switch on there it could really come in handy... the odometer doesnt work with that fuse removed... just switch it off on the highway after you set the cruise to the speed you want to go...
