• I need to find a local dyno, help please!

I wasn't sure which forum to stick this in so I guess it'll get moved to another if it doesn't belong here.

I live in middle TN, not too far from Murfreesboro. I'm finally starting to put mods on my car that actually increase HP and I'd like to document the gains/losses. I have a 3.4L and there aren't a bunch of numbers out there about HP increasers on this motor. :( I'd like to post mine so others could get an idea of expected gains. I've got a HPP and a FIPK waiting to go on. I'd like to get stock numbers then add the goodies later and do a follow up.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Forgot to ask one more thing.

What about the on-board systems like the G-tech and Tazzo? I'm sure they aren't 100% accurate but at least it'd be a close guess. It'd be a one-time up front investment but I think it might sace some cash in the long run instead of paying for each trip to the dyno.

All opinions welcome!!!

OK, I guess I'm on my own on this one.

The tazzo is worthwhile, the gtech is iffy. If you need to find a dyno your best bet is to lookup performance shops up in the yellow pages and ask them - or find a club in your area or car show and find out. Otherwise www.google.com and goodluck!

Harbin- Check out this web site...

http://www.dynojet.com/auto.shtml

On the top left side of the screen put your mouse over [Support Channel]. Then go to [Local Dyno Centers]. Type in your area, and it'll tell you who around you has a chassis dyno. I found three that are about 60miles from me.

Hope this helps,
Ed
