  • Anyone have a tangled seat belt?

Just noticed the passenger side seat belt clip thingy faces outward, so when you pull the seat belt to put into the latch, you have to turn it around. Thus the twist is created in the belt. When you unlatch it and let it retract, the belt has no twists though(cause the latch flips around). Is this normal? I have a 2001 V6 camaro convertible . I noticed the same thing on the passenger side of my mom's 1997 Chevy Lumina. Anyone get what I'm talking about? You can also email me at heybog@yahoo.com Thanks.
Yes, I know \"Artic\" should be spelled \"Arctic\". Can any of the mods change this?

That happened to mine when I put my stereo in. I took out the seats and undid the seat bels. Then when I put them back in I didn't make sure they were striaght.

Pull the seat belt latch over the fold in the seat belt, it takes some effort, but it reverses the direction of the latch on the belt if it's done right. If that doesn't fix it, you can probably take the bolt out and twist the belt around. The bolt (if I remember right) uses a big Torx Bit and a ratchet, but you might be able to git it with some Channel Locks. Good luck, shouldn't be too hard though.
