  • Changed my o2 Sensors and also to a 160 thermostat

I HATE THE O2 SENSORS!!!! things took like 20 min just to get it lose it was so sealed stuck!!! but omg they were like charred!! they were sickening.. had to have bee the stock ones (140k on my car!!)

The thermo was really easy to do... only hard part was getting the ratchet around and under the throttle body.... tight place lemme tell ya...

Overall i will update u guys with my results after a day or two..i just came back inside from doing it... and im about to go out with some friends or sumthin ..

I feel sorry for the guy on this board who got charged 90 bux to change his thermostat out.... It took a total of about 15 mins excluding the time it took me to flush out my radiator ( sick crap in that thing!!!)

Hehe, I did my driver side o2 sensor, in less then 5 min. My passneger one took a good 20-30 min., I jsut got pissed, used, 3 different extenders, and 2 angled socket adapters, and a 1.5 foor long half in. breaker bar to jsut force the fecker out.

As for the Thermostat, I gave up and popped my TB off and cleaned it while I waited for the coolant to drain, gave me more room then I woudl ever need. I like the thermo its really nice in the summer especially here in FL.

It took me about 10 minutes to change the O2 sensors on my car. Both O2 sensors on my car are easy to get to, so I just used a cresent wrench and a cheater bar, no problems getting them out. After I changed it the SES light went out. I still need to change the pre cat, the parts store gave me the wrong one the day I did it, so it's just sitting in the car waiting to be put on. It sucks because I took it out before I realized I had the wrong one, but there is a good side to that, it'll be easier to removet when I put the new one in.
