  • Installing power windows and power seats.

    Will this be a complicated mod? I want to install power windows in my car and i heard power seats is a plug and play thing.. anyone know any guides or anything?

      these really shouldn't be that hard to put in. i ordered a power window kit from a1electric and put it in just a couple of weeks ago. the hardest part is drilling out the rivets that hold the manual window regulators in. other than that it wasn't bad at all.

        seats are easy. window will take alittle while. just be careful and dont cut yourself [img]smile.gif[/img]

          I've done the whole power doors thing. Locks, mirrors and Windows.

          Best thing is to get the power door harness, this'll make things so much easier.

          The other guys are right, swapping the Window regulators is a major pain in the ****, but extremely satisfying result.

              My supervisor and I replaced my driver's window motor in about an hour and a half. The wiring is all there on cars that didn't come with the power accessories, all you have to do is provide the switches and motors. The seat is really easy. Under it, maybe tucked into the carpet, there's a cable with a connector on it. All you have to do is plug that into the seat's connector, and you're done with that
