• i got my SES codes read AND .........

the codes was

75 EGR solenoid 1 failure
76 EGR solenoid 2 failure
77 EGR solenoid 3 failure

so thats BINGO 3 in a row!!!

is this an indication towards clogged pathways rather than electrical failure?

any help would be great

cloged passages. you can confirm this by manualy opening the selinoid and looking for an RPM drop

you need to unplug the selinoid. Then you have to suply 12 volts where it would usualy go (look what pin the brown wire that carrys voltage connects to) then with the car running ground the other termonals one at a time and see if you can detect a change in RPM. just be carefull not to short anything while your doing this

the passages are what connect the valve to the intake. thats what gets pluged up
