Is there anyone out there who can reprogram my PCM with the 2000 M5 calibration specs so I can run my 160°F thermostat? Perhaps I could buy one - or should I check with junk yards?

You don't need reprogramming to run a 160 thermo. A manual fan switch would help though.
Also, this is basic tech.. I'm moving it to the General Tech section.Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

ok... SES light won't hurt the performance of the car. Mine's been on for years and I seem to be doing ok.Keith - Chicago
HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming
97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap
V8 9.967@132.78 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam
V8 10.295@128.48 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only
V8 10.987@119.31 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals
V6 13.674@98.22 NA
V6 12.394@104.91 N20 100HP

You never read my old post, this is DOMINIC (MR 160 stat) talkin to ya!
Listen Maggie, the 2002 doesnt just set a code, it kicks the Fans on HIGH in some kind of self-protection mode and kills the interior gauge all the while burning up the dash with the SES.
In my 00, the car ran beautifully with a 160, since the programming was different - need some help here. I want an 00 M5 PCM, or I want a reprogram to fix this.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
