  • 2000 M5 V6 PCM...

Is there anyone out there who can reprogram my PCM with the 2000 M5 calibration specs so I can run my 160°F thermostat? Perhaps I could buy one - or should I check with junk yards?

You don't need reprogramming to run a 160 thermo. A manual fan switch would help though.

Also, this is basic tech.. I'm moving it to the General Tech section.

ok... SES light won't hurt the performance of the car. Mine's been on for years and I seem to be doing ok.

You never read my old post, this is DOMINIC (MR 160 stat) talkin to ya!

Listen Maggie, the 2002 doesnt just set a code, it kicks the Fans on HIGH in some kind of self-protection mode and kills the interior gauge all the while burning up the dash with the SES.

In my 00, the car ran beautifully with a 160, since the programming was different - need some help here. I want an 00 M5 PCM, or I want a reprogram to fix this.
