hey guys i know that alot of you people out there are writing about low volts this and dim lights that but what i was wondering was , whenever i start my car the volts jump up to about 16-17 now i dont think that that can be good for the car. would this ammount of volts in the system mess up the ignition coils and what can i do to get it fixed. please help!!!

I have the same problem too only when I have my radio turned up a bit and driving lights on and when it warms up a bit it goes down a bit to like 14-15. My car is still starting fine. So I'm going to leave it alone.2000 Firebird 3.8L, GU6, G80<br />Maple Red Metallic <br />And the rest is all stock.<br /><br />SOLD:94 Firebird 3.4L<br />Flowmaster 80 Series
