• help brake light problem !

last night i was pulled and given a warning ticket  for my passenger side brake light being out. when i checked it this morning, it was on but only half as bright as the other one. i changed the bulb and it had no effect, still dim. i wiped off the connections and still no change. anyone have any ideas on what would cause this, or how to fix it?

Change all the bulbs, and tell the cop to stop being such a douche.

That explains his doucheness. Check the voltage going to the bulbs, then check the working side. Post the results.

Mine is like that too, but it's both sides. They are really dim, like to the point at daytime, friends have said they can barely see them. But the turn signals are bright....

            Might be an earthing fault.

I had a problem with one of the bulbs on my Drivers side.

It worked fine during daylight, but when Park lamps are on, braking or signalling would result in the bulb going out!
