Ok, I finally have the money, and am ordering the powerpack for my 3.8L Firebird from SSM next week. It will come with the cam, P&P heads, and P&P upper and lower intake. I will also be getting pistons and rods to replace while everything is apart.
And then I am putting on a supercharger on January or Feburary. So with this I have a couple questions.
1. I am planning on having the PCM reprogrammed, as it suggests this to go with the pack. But I am not wanting to have to program it once for the pack, and then again for the supercharger, and I was told I would if I were to have it done now. So is this true? And if I don't, will the car run crappy with the cam and stuff done to it running on a stock PCM?
2. The other thing would be what else would you guys recommend I do with this stuff to get the best performance out of it. Or what else would be recommended while everything is apart. Such things like injectors, fuel pump, ... etc etc. Are these needed?
Thanks for ANYONE who helps me with this. If I am just told to search for it, and you are someone that don't mind helping me out a little, please email me to help answer some questions. Thanks.
