What octane do all of you use? I always used 89 in my new RS, but some have been saying I'm just wasting my money and that it was meant for 87. I also heard that you're suppose to use the lowest octane meant for it for best horsepower. Do you guys agree with that?

87 here. No point in wasting money on higher octane gas when our cars don't need it. Do a search and you'll find this same thing has been discussed many times. ;)

I've got a 95 with Hypertech programming that requires 93 octane. I've tried 87 with the programming but I lost some gas mileage. I usually run high octane in the winter to keep it from knocking. But 87 or 89 works fine in the summer if I don't have the HPP installed.95 Camaro 3.4L A4
Bosch plugs/MSD wires, K&N FIPK , Magnaflow catback, hi-flo cat, B&M Shift+, Dee\'s spacer
Kenwood KDX-859, eXcelon Amps, Infinity Kappa 3-way doors and Perfect10 sub
Behold, the raw fury that is known as the 3.4!!!
