If you flushed coolant and it was normal color (no sludge), and thermo was changed, what does that leave us with?
Either clogged radiator (I doubt that it is, if dexcool wasn't mixed with green/blue stuff or deluted with too much water), or bad water pump.
If you've had chemical reaction of dexcool with any other coolant other than dexcool, simple flush might not work. Dexcool is good stuff, but people are too lazy to open the manual and read that you can NEVER mix it with any other type of coolant.
