I've been doing searches about the swapping... I thought that it was impossible? Can you really just swap it and that's that? If so, how much we talkin here $300?

Or just order the tuning from Texas Speed for $275. They'll program the PCM for you before you install it. You just won't be able to make any changes to it unless you buy HP Tuners. ;)

That's good news man... do they have a website? Also, is it worth the money in your opinion? And lastly, where can I get a 97 pcm?

-Sorry for all the damn questions.

edit: I can't access the message board from my house so I have to get all the info while I'm at work, that's why :D

IMO, I'm not really sure it's worth it for a mostly stock car. You're not gonna get gains like the ricers always say. However, I don't know for sure, so you may get a few hp.

well, If I can get a used 97 PCM for $50, and Texas speed only charges $250 for tuning (I just called, and they'll return over and over for free) $300 is okay with me. Has anyonw actually switched their 96 PCM with a 97 though? I wanna make sure before I buy one.
