Most shops automatically assume its the motors on flip up headlamps... Just natural to them because 90% of the time it really is. Each motor runs about $160 a piece + labor. On the other hand, they charge like $90 an hour for an electrical diagnostics. Try a performance shop or speed shop, those guys usually know alot about F-Bodys.

Take a look at the "general regional" section of the BB here. Seems like a bunch of folks from Chicago are trying to form a group. Hit 'em up-- offer to buy some food or something...\'00 f-bird 3.8 M5 coupe, pewter metallic<br />Torsen LSD, Pro 5.0 shifter, Spec stage 1 clutch, Y87 muffler, aftermarket stereo<br />-more fun than the Oldsmobile it replaced...

maybe watch the video again and read the write up again. print the write up and take it outside to the car. if you need tools you will save a lot of money by doing it yourself...the savings will more than pay the the couple tools required. Try it on a weekend when you have plenty of time.

if you do take it to a shop you will need to print out the brent franer headlight gear fix tutorial so they know what you are talking about and how to do.
as already stated...a shop will just want to put in a brand new unit. most likely not needed.
