This is weird but, I just had a muffler shop put tips on my series II 3.8 and I swear my car has at least 30 more hp. It's like a different engine. I think the reason for the HP increase is because they cut about two feet of pipe from the exhaust where it use to meet the stock tips. The new tips are almost 24 inches long. Welding the tips farther back (less pipe) really seems to make a difference. MY GOD what a difference in power. It now pulls like a mother phucer. All I can say is I hope this isn't a dream.
