Your fuel filter WAS CHANGED at some point if you have no ses light. I had to have my injectors cleaned and fuel filter replaced at 40k miles because they were so dirty it was causing the engine to idle rough when first started.

I would check the plugs and wires. Replace that filter with a K&N, that will help a little. Also consider the possibility you may need a little tuning with your mods: you do have headers, cat, and muffler. That plus no tuning might be making you run rich.

can i do this at home or do i have to take it to a shop? if i cant do it here. i would rather replace them here. </font>[/QUOTE]Well, you'd have to get them tested at a shop or you can buy new ones. I'd suggest doing all the easier checks before this test...

if my air intake sensor went bad, it would cause my car to possibly run rich right?

No, I don't think so, it just monitors intake temps and adjusts timing to stave off possible detonation. I'd check O2 sensors before that.
