Ok Im having a little problem with my left turn signal, if this has already been posted before im sorry because I searched and could not find anything. Anyways, the left turn signal comes on fine and everything it just wont turn off after I make the turn like it usually does, the right one works fine just not the left. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Ya, I posted the exact same problem a month ago and was told that probably a part that is supposed to make the lever switch back into place must have either worn out or broke and that I had to replace the entire lever requiring me to take out the steering wheel. I'm sure another user would be able to answer your question a little better with more detail.
Did you do the work yourself or have a shop do it? If you did it yourself how difficult was it and if you had a shop do it how much did it cost? Thanks for the help.

There is a little plastic piece in the steering column that is called a "canceller". It acts like a ratchet in that it allows you to turn on the signal and turn the wheel past the "tooth", then when you turn the wheel back, it trips (or cancels) the turn signal lever. It's relatively easy to fix if you have a steering wheel puller. If you decide to do it yourself and have an airbag, be REAL careful. Disconnect the battery, let everything bleed down, and don't accidently ground anything.

Ok thanks for the help everyone, I will probably just take it in to a shop since I am not very experienced on working on cars and I am sure I would do more damage than good.
