Im planning on getting a G-tech and am wondering should i have it weighed? Is it neccesary to weigh your car for it to be fairly accurate? Is there anything else i should do before i get it? Should this go in electronics? Am i asking too many questions? Ok thanks for any input in the topic,

To get even close to accurate on the horsepower claims, you'll needs to be fairly accurate on the weight of your vehicle. You could always go to a dump ground and they'll let you drive onto their scales and you can get a very accurate weight that way. Of course it changes alot from a full tank to empty, so take that into consideration when you G-tech.

The GTech HP function is worthless with an inaccurate weight. For 1/4 times weight does not matter.
