  • Spark plug question?

    Will spark plugs form a 99 camaro v6 work on a 1996 cavalier 2.4l.my grf needs to replace hers in her cavalier and I have some ACDelco Plat.'s with only a few miles on them from when I switched to NGK-R TR-6's will the ACD's work in her car?

    Check online in a parts catalog (i.e. NAPA, etc.). It Should say what AC Delco plug it needs. Then check your plugs #.

      why did you switch to TR6's.. they are gapped at .030. which is what we use for nitrous applications on our cars.


      if you arent running nitrous, i'd recommend the tr55's which are pregapped at .050, and then self gap them to .060 for best NA performance.


      but i have no idea what a cav will need/

            Nitrous is fun!! But Yeah they should work.. The gap on a quad 4 is .65 or .45.. I dont remember because I had a 1996 Z24 and cant remember the number.. Go to pepboys and check out a chiltons manual or ask the dude at the counter for the gapping and regap the plugs if you need to..
