Anyone else notice that when you lock up your car, if it gives 2 beeps everything is ok, then 1 beep there is a problem somewhere.
Well my car has died twice on me so far. Now im convinced its the alternator. First time I remember it was only beeping once when I locked it up. So then my car died on the way home. Got a jump, went home, recharged my battery. 2 beeps! Everything is fine. 2 weeks go by it was beeping twice when I locked her up, then acouple days before the 2nd time, i noticed again, only 1 beep. So the 2nd time it dies, pull into a development and my gauges go crazy once again. BAM shuts down. Get a jump from my bro's T/A and off I go home again.
Got a new battery for my birthday... ya lucky me haha... but then 2 beeps, everything is fine! SO now week later, BAM again 1 beep.
Cant he horn give the early sympton signs of an alternator dieing out? Sometimes my car beeps twice, then sometimes once, then back to twice, then back to once. I aint trustin it, I think im just gonna slap a new alternator on. Just wanna hear wha others have to say THX.
