I thought it was good to run plugs that run colder? would bosch +4 make a car slower in et? what are good plugs and why is copper better for faster 1/4 times?

Only if you need colder. If the plugs are too cold they will foul. Read the NGK FAQ

Would bosch +4 make a car slower in et?
It shouldn't if they don't misfire. If a plug fires and fires on time everytime, thats all you can ask for from it.

Copper conducts better and has less misfires at high RPM. They wear quicker also. Usually copper is only needed on nitrous cars, since Pt + NOx = BAD. Some of the best plugs today for n/a cars are the iridiums, and I don't think they harm nitrous cars either but don't quote me on that as I'm not a nitrous GURU.

i have never had a problem with my platinum plugs. You guys have scared me away from them for next time though. They sure didnt make the car feel slower. I wonder if they did slow it down though...

I think its just more or less personnal preference, i dont see any facts here or anywhere stating bosch plat+4 are bad or slow our cars down.

in my experience, +4's slowed me down.
Platinum burns hotter than copper, and there's 4 electrodes. Even though there's only 1 electrode getting a spark, it heats them all up around, which can lead to detonation, as heat can get out of the combustion chamber. I switched back to regular plats, or even then, bosch supercraps (copper)...ran faster, better MPG's, less misfires in the higher rpms.
