Is there any performance diffrence between the 3800 Series I and 3800 Series II?

Run a search on this subject. You are comparing apples to oranges these are 2 completely different engines.

series 1= 165 or 160hp, and 200 or 210tq,
series 2= 200hp and 220tq.

yup.
the Series 1 & 2 are both buick engines,but they dont share componets,witch is a drag 'cause theres a huge aftermarket for the series 1

All the 3.8's found in 4th-gen F-body's are Series II, if that helps.
