  • Cold weather and power windows

Does anyone else have a problem with your power windows when it gets cold? When it gets below 40 degrees or so my windows get VERY slow and if it gets below 30 or so they won't go down.

I don't recall this being a problem in other cars I have been in with power windows. But maybe I just never paid attention.

Yeah damnit. My windows are off the track and it makes the windows go down all wrong. Makes the car look cheap.

Hmm, I wonder why mine do that. It is pretty much a PITA when it happens. Sometimes if they do go down it won't come back up. Which has made for a few cold trips:)

It is still under warranty maybe I will mention it the next time I am at the dealer.

When I was up in Minot, the Blazer's windows would be slow, but never stopped working. Besides, we never opened the windows when it was -X degrees anyway. What are you thining? ;)

Coldest it got while we were there was -45 w/-75 windchill.

My drivers side window did that last year.....Final Problem.....Motor was going out has nothing to do with the temp. Kinda hard to believe a 3 year old car's window motor goes out but oh well....that's what i found the problem to be
