  • Lil help please.

These intakes that are in this forum are for my friends eclipse. i was wondering what you guys thought about the quality differences in the ones in the forum(cheaper) compared to the AEM one. I need to know some good points(pros and cons) before i tell him he should buy the cheaper one.

    AEM:

I figure the cheaper ones will give as good-a results as the $182 AEM one, but may not be made of the "highest" quality.

I figure if you can get the same airflow and practically the same filter for a cheaper price then i should go for it. if the things are both polished metal then they both should look the same, but looks arent counting that much when you are paying around $30. thanks in advance for your input guys.

i'm not sure why this is posted on a V6 camaro forum... but none of the links, other than the first one, work.

make YOUR argument to your friend. we don't know any better. if those intake things are shaped the same, i don't know what difference there could possibly be, other than the filter or fit/finish.
