After you remove the speed limiter from what I understand the speedo just stops at 110 and you keep accelerating!

Jet SCU2000 Installation Instructions
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable
2. Locate the fuse/relay center under the hood, drivers side, in the front fender well
3. Mount the scu2000 on the fender well using the supplied velcro tape
4. Attach the black wire from the scu2000 to a suitable ground
5. Route the wiring harness down the underside of the vehicle. Be sure the wiringharness doe not lie close to or come in contact with the exhaust system of the vehicle
6. Disconnect the Vehicle Speed Sensor harness, located on the tailshaft of the transmission, passenger side
7. Plug the Vehicle Speed Sensor wiring harness into the scu2000 harness
8. Connect the other end of the scu2000 into the Vehicle Speed Sensor tailshaft connector
9. Use the supplied tie wraps to keep the wiring harness from dangling or coming in contact with the exhaust
10. For a '96-'99 Camaro/Firebird connect the red power lead, using the brass fuse adapter, to Right/Left Door Headlamp Fuse(this is a 12 volt continuous power source)
11. This is for and Impala SS so I'll skip it
12. Recheck the wiring harnessrouting and all connections for proper installation
13. You may now move on to "setting and adjusting the scu2000"
14. After you have properly set and adjusted teh scu2000, reconnect the negative terminal of the battery

Thats all the instructions
the jumper in the little circle should be on "-" to have the speed limiter off

Drop me a message or email me if you need me to try and take a pic of the 6 images in the instructions or need to know exact settings!

Like i said before the stock tire is 3 stock gear 3 mod gear 5 mod tire try 5, when you mess with the mod tire setting the higher numbers seems to take the rpm a little higher and lower settings shift earlier try mod tire 5

Everything there is correct except the mod tire leave that one on 3 as well with your old/new tire combo your speedo will only be off a fraction of a percent! But like he also sead you can change it to a lil higher for shift point changes!

I sent you all the setting in your email as well!

What did you guys use for the power wire? I'm not sure which wire under the hood is 12v.

Just hooked mine up today.

The instructions say to attach it to either the LH HDLP DR or RH HDLP DR located in one of your fuse boxes. Those are for the headlamp door modules, a continuous 12v power source. I did mine like that. I wished I would have just hooked it directly to the battery. That would have given me a little more room to avoid the exhaust. I ended up burning some of the loom, but it missed the wires. . I used the plastic straps that they sent, but ended up using a lot of duct tape to the underside of the body, and inside of the engine bay against the firewall just to be safe. Gonna rewire it later, so that it looks better.
