  • Does your engine run a little rougher than most cars??

i have a 3.4L and my engine seems to run a little rough. From what my dad and i can remember, our old 94 camaro ran a little rough as well.

Any other 3.4 drivers cars run a little rough?

If not what should i do to fix it? will new plug wires even make a difference? I check for arking or sparks in pitch black, but they seem perfectly fine.

    how rough?
the idle is kinda rough on our cars anyways in my opinion... especially as they get older.

Yes, the 3.4's do sound somewhat "lumpy" I've heard people compare them to a boat motor. I think its just a characteristic of our engines.

This is due in part by the EGR valve forcing the engine to operate at a lower RPM than normal.
