Does your engine run a little rougher than most cars??
Does your engine run a little rougher than most cars??
i have a 3.4L and my engine seems to run a little rough. From what my dad and i can remember, our old 94 camaro ran a little rough as well.
Any other 3.4 drivers cars run a little rough?
If not what should i do to fix it? will new plug wires even make a difference? I check for arking or sparks in pitch black, but they seem perfectly fine.
Yes mine runs a little rough...and since the car is older I also have some rattles that drive me friggin-nuts.

Right there...
Every now and then at an autocross a few peopel claim i have a cam, especially with my EGR goofing up.

quote:
Originally posted by SLOWBRAEATER: sorry an goofy egr will not make the 3.4 sound like it has a cam, trust me if you had a cam in your 3.4 anyone who has a clue would know it is cammed

For your info, that is exactly what made my car sound like it had a large profile Camshaft (not "cammed" :( ) A sticking EGR valve will definately replicate the lope of a moderate camshaft profile. This is due in part by the EGR valve forcing the engine to operate at a lower RPM than normal.
