Kk, uhm now instead of replacing a radatior could I just JB Weld a little part of it up? It has a small leak where a hose is connected to it. I'm not sure if it is the hose or not, but it has been patched before because there is white stuff all over the connector. It is not a big leak at all, it is very small. I was wondering if I could just scrap off the white stuff after draining the radaitor and apply lots of JB Weld to the radiator connector. Now I know JB Weld will hold together small cracks on our oil pans, I just need to know if it can handle the heat from the Coolant. Thanks in advance.

If the tanks on the sides of the radiator (the resivours) are metal, not plastic, you can. It will definately work, they even make stuff you can put on while its wet.
If they are plastic, dont even try, it WILL NOT hold.
Er, I might be pretty sure that its plastic... The thing that is leaking is the black part of the radiator itself... like the end covers that have the connectors to the hoses that go to the engine. But if they are plastic... what do you recommend, short of a new radiator?

Seriously, when my plastic end resivours got a pinpoint hole in them in my S10, i tried everything to patch it, because it was just a small hole. I ended up having to get a new radiator after about 2 weeks of trying stuff (i even went as far as melting new plastic to it as a last resort..........nothing worked)
i dont know what to tell you. i tried everything i could find and think of, and absolutely nothing worked at all.

I wouldn't put the cooling system on a whim like that. Melting the problem may cause a hundred more and once you melt it, it won't be 100% stable. Sucks man but autozone let me down easy for 200.00

Or you can try plastic cement (like for models). That stuff basically "melts" the plastic together.

JB Weld may well hold it, but Bars Leak aluminized radiator sealer will work on most stuff too. It does however tend to clog the radiator core.
best bet for a new radiator: Radiators.com. Best price I found anywhere, one day delivery to my door, 171 bucks for my 94 Camaro. All fittings perfect fit.
The tanks can be replaced. Call around to shops that repair radiators. Mine was under $90 for them to replace it. Haven't had a problem for 90000 miles with it.
