Ok, heres the deal, my car started misfiring last week so I decided to go ahead and put on the Taylor 8mm wires and NGK TR55s, no help.
I took it into my mechanic becuase neither my father nor I could figure out the problem, after 2 days of trying new parts in the ignition system he finds that 2 of my coils (KEM coils, I've never heard of them but the previous owner must have installed them) have failed and have leaked into the igniton module.
Basically I need new coils and an ignition module, my mechanic quoted me ~$70 each coil and ~$275 for the module.
Should I go stock, go all out with the DIS-4, do a stock module and aftermarket coils, or any other suggestions.
Please give me any feedback on:
-Jacobs coils
-Accel Coils
-MSD DIS-4 igntion box
-Standard MSD igntion box
Please help me, I want my car back
