• Windshield weatherstripping is coming off

I noticed a little part of my windshield weatherstripping is coming off. Is there a way I can fix it without replacing it? Like, siliconing maybe?

I'm assuming you mean the rear hatch window right? I just did this last weekend. I washed the car, only to find a pool in my trunk

Picked up some Permatex black silicone sealant at my local autozone. Then took a small scraper to the hatch window and removed all the black crud. Last you pull open the rubber seal the window sits in and fill in the space between the two with the sealant.

It keeps the water out, and looks a million times better now that the black crud is no more.

No, it is the windshield. I know the difference between the windshield and the rear hatch window But I'll give the black silicone stuff a try. Thank you

D'oh, I was always told never assume anything

But the silicone should fix the problem. Is your window leaking?
