  • QUESTION

    My gf's '94 firebird idles under 1000 rpm's. its probably like 500 or so. Is this normal?? I can't remember what mine idles at, but I have a 3.8, she has a 3.4. Thanks for your help.

    Don't pay attention to the tach...its usually off by a few hundred RPM's.

      Oh ok. Just out of curiousity though, what does everyone elses run at idle?

        When warm and in park mine is at 800rpm, when in drive about 750rpm

          my 3.4 reads about 800 rpm after warmed up.

            Mine Idles at around 600 rpm.
