  • stock hood vents?

    has anyone ever thought about cutting out the inserts on the stock hood, i have a 97. It probably wouldnt do0 much except cool the engine down but what the hell ya know couldnt hurt??? what do u guys think??
    SLP CAI, RK Sport headers, P&Ped heads and intake, GT2 cam, Upgraded valvetrain, Z28 rear axle with 4.10s Tx Spd tune, Z06 rims, 2.5\" exhaust to flowmaster, 160* thermo, B&M ripper, upgraded ignition, rockford fosgate 12\" with sony xplode amp and HU.

    i thought about that but i dont need any more belt slipping than i already get w/ aftermarket pullys. water wont help em when it rains

      not a real high pressure area, so "ram-air" wouldnt work and if you want a really dirty engine compartment thats one way....and the rain I guess

        I drilled out all the little holes in those two black pieces and took a dremal to the back, placed a neon in there , looks pretty good [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

          hey kurupt.....i think we are the only two guys on this site, at least that ive seen that have the ceyenne red color for our cars

              yea i think its around maybe 2500 cars ever made with that color (all years), so hell yea its rare!

                  Hey Fury Charger, I thought about hood vents similar to the lotus elise. With turboing the engine I think it would help cool it down under the hood.
