• Issues with my car VIDEO CLIP INSIDE, Please Help!!! Experts, Anyone.

Hey guys, I'm still in the middle of my turbo install, however, i'm having some issues with my car right now and I wanna clear them up before I drop in the turbo. Everything for the turbo has been installed (y pipe and all), the FMU has been disconnected for now until these problems are solved.

Here goes, I went and had my car scanned this past weekend as my car has been running like garbage. Here's the codes the Scan threw back at me: 0140,1641,0137,1663.

Now some info about the codes i'm throwin. I have no cat, and therefore put a o2 sim to replace that O2.

That second O2 I thought was a problem cause the muffler shop welded that O2 directly with the bung into my new y pipe, so i thought that damaged it. Anyways, I replaced that O2 with the other one i took out for the o2 sim. Seems to be running a bit better, but still not perfect.

Third, I had a spark plug problem when it got scanned. That problem has been resolved, therefore, disregard that code.

So i've put together a video clip that i took with my pda for you guys to see and hear what is going on. A few things to note..... My y pipe where the exhaust comes up to feed into the turbo has a ghetto metal sheild to deflect exhaust downward, this let me drive my car back and forth wherever i needed to go.

Does this sound like a vacuum leak to u? Or do u think it's still O2 sensor related? The idle is pretty rough, sounds like i have a cam in there, plus it shakes my car quite a bit, a lot more that my previous idle.

Here's the link, please only download it if you think you really can help cause i don't want to max out my friends account, thanks.

Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate any thoughts.

    Wow, your car's fuked up.

P0140/P0137 - You said you changed the oxygen sensor before the cat, right? Did you clear the codes after you changed it, or before? Have either of these codes come back?

P1641/P1663 - I think these 2 are related. They use the same wire from the fuse block to the instrument panel. How is fuse 9 (GAUGES) on the in-car fuse block? I don't think that's it, but worth checking. The service manual makes it sound like there's a problem with the wiring to the instrument panel

No there's no cam. I thin i solved my vacuum leak. It must be an O2 sensor or the EGR....something along those lines. I hope anyways.
