• Spare Tire Compartment

I took out the tire and jack to fix by back light and I noticed it was dirty and there are dead bugs in the bottom of the compartment. So I figured I would just rinse it out since there is a little hole in the bottom. Well while I was doing that, I saw what looked like a plug for exactly what I was doing. However I cant get the plug out for the life of me. Two questions, this is a plug right? And if so, how the hell do I get it out? Thanks.

oh...... my....... god. I'm an idiot. After I fought that thing for a half hour, I figured it out. If something doesnt pull out, push it out. <----me hitting myself.
Of all the things to have trouble with on a car, a frickin rubber plug, unbelievable.
