  • best windshield wipers...

Odd question I know. I need to get new wipers as the old ones are sucking wang. The ones I currently use are Rain-X, they've been nice but I'm thinkin there's better out there. Any ideas guys? Thanks.

Yeah the wiper situation on my car is crap too. let me know what you get and how they work.

Too bad they didnt make a rear wiper kit for camaros. It may look kinda tacky, but would be worth it sometimes. Im sure there would be a way to make it look like it grew there. Just a suggestion.

Yea, I dunno what mine are now but I've had em maybe a year and a half, when its not a torrential downpour they squeak to no end, so I'm wondering what good ones are too

Wiper blades last longer if you maintain them by cleaning them occasionally. A rag and some vinegar will help get the grime off of the wipers and will revitalize the rubber compounds.

The last set I bought were Ancos. They're better than the CarQuest ones I had earlier, they don't go "Clack clack clack" on high speed mode, they're probably made of stiffer materials/construction. The next set I will try will probably be the Bosch ones.

Go to Wal-Mart, get TripleEdge blades. Not the ugly double blade trash, but the singles. These wipers are excellent. They are silicone, not rubber, have a lifetime warrantee and are only about $7 each. If you dont like them, you are only out $14.

I wouldn't advise to use the double bladed wipers. They wear down your wiper motors twice as fast due to the extra friction it pushes against. I have a friend who burned them both out for that very reason.
