well I've had plenty of experiances w/ABS kicking in, especially in the snow/ice and no complaints here. A bad sensor alone shouldn't make the braking feel crappy.

they only place i would rather not have ABS is on loose gravel
I've had 2, count them 2, sliding/braking accidents in my 15 year driving career.

BOTH were caused in large part by the ABS system malfunctioning.

Take it, and marry it for all I care. I will not have ABS on any vehicle I own ever again. Maybe if it was dramatically improved like the new electronic traction control system that's premiering this year, (yay motorweek) but that's about it.
</font>[/QUOTE]any ford or dodge i have ever drivin has crappy abs,

put you in a car without abs and me in my car or my dads 2x4 s10 and i gaurantee ill smoke you.

the s10 is awesome as far as braking.

"oh crap ther is something in front of me!!", oh yeah i cant steer when im braking because i slide everywhere."

i have driven several non abs cars and several abs cars. chevy has it down. but as for the others i would rather go nonabs on a ford or dodge anyday. if it is there i want it to work, if its not then i can depend on my own judgement.

if i mix ABS and trying to make up for a small lack of ABS then im in trouble.
