  • How to turn the AC vent off

    is there any way to turn the ac vent off? Now that its 96 degrees here in Austin... the AC has to work really hard the cool the inside with all the hot air coming in from the vent.

      You mean the heater duct on the bottom, that normally blows on your feet? That always seems to have a little warm air coming out, even when the controls are set on cold or off.
