...the PCV valve. I have the SLP CAI, so the IAT sensor is on the left side of the intake elbow (of course)...if you move up towards the 3800 SERIES there is a tube/cable with a little black plastic piece that connects to the engine.
Is this the PCV valve? I need to know because someone said to take the PCV valve and shake it.

If that *IS* the PCV valve, I need to replace it because it didn't rattle. So I just removed it, shook it and put it back. I'm guessing I just remove it from the tube, and then put in the new one and put that one in?

The PCV vavle is located under that metal plate on the intake manifold labeled "PCV", yours is probably worn so you can't see the letters :D

you should go to your nearest parts store and pick up a Haynes repair manual, they are very, very helpful.
