There is a metal clip that holds it on. Remove the electrical connector and rubber hose first, then take a screwdriver and lift the plastic locking-flap and lift the purge valve off. It's really easy to remove, just a paint to get a screwdriver to the plastic flap, but it can be done because I did it...twice!sigpic
