I don't have a clue what a "cold air supercharger" is, but I can tell you it's junk.

The IAT sensor is at the end of the wire that goes to the air intake lid. It's just after the lid in the rubber tubing.

Oh Please PLEase PLEASE tell me you didn't buy one of THESE Pieces o'Sheeat!!
If so, let us know when it self-desturucts and lets pieces of plastic fly into your engine. Also tell us how much it's costing you for an engine rebuild.

They are junk...Trust us! I don't care how many Civic's they said that went from 40 hp to 1,000hp with one of these installed, they are a waste of money!

Well im sure the plastic superchargers are oeices of crap. But i meant to say i bought a cold air intake, and had my buddy fabricate me a supercharger made of stainless steel which i also bought from him. All i need to know is if the iat sensor is located on the intake hose right after the airbox. Thanks for the replies tho.

from the sound of things, you are saying that this supercharger your buddy made for you is operating off the electrical system. it takes an extreme amount of power for an electrical unit to be able to put any sort of gains to your engine. it has been done, but the supercharger sells for just about the price of a normal (4000 dollar) one. also, if im not mistaking, it runs off its own battery and only in short bursts so that it has time to recharge. search the FI forum for this unit. i am highly skeptical that this supercharger your friend fabricated for you for 100 bucks can blow hard enough (no pun intended) to give you even a 15 hp gain. feel free to prove me wrong.

the iat sensor is just in front of the throttle body, near the end of whatever plastic intake setup you might have. if you have a slpcai, or something with the 1le elbow, its located in the elbow. to move it, you need to move both wire and sensor, and the plug it sits into.

well like i said i am getting it dyno'd and this is just an experiment if it works ill keep it on if not, it will come off. I will tell yall if i get any gain. But all these comments are starting to make me skeptical. But I'm sure your all just telling the truth. Thanks for the comments

youre weocome. and i garuntee you. if you can get gains of even 10 hp or more from a 100 dollar blower, and prove its safe and reliable, youll have a long line of people here wanting to buy one from you, cause something like that just doesnt happen.

have fun experimenting, but dont be too disappointed.
