I'm sorry, but "Speedy" repairs isn't something I am too fond of. I need the details. I may be putting aftermarket parts on the car, but removal and installation procedures are still the same. I just think that if I do this project right and with patience, that I could have a fast V6 and still have a car that can be driven somewhere other than the dragstrip. I don't want to have to worry about having to fix something internal that was simple when the engine was out but a PITA with it back in. Just want to do the job right the first time.

i wouldnt call the repairs 'speedy'. i said it provides helpful suggestions that can make the job go faster. like removing the seal from the transmission filter intake bore. you cant get a seal puller in there. what do you do? the shop manual probably says '6) remove the seal using gm tool xxx-xx-xxx' helpful isnt it? haynes suggests a screwdriver and shows you how you can pry/drive it out.
