maybe the moving arm thing on the fuel pump is getting stuck up with gasoline or grime or something. and damn, 400 miles to a tank? does she drive around at 1000 RPMs? i get 150-175 miles to a tank... :(

even if you got 200 miles, that would only be 12.5 miles to a gallon. get that fixed...your probably getting like 10 .

and yes original topic starter, you need a fuel sending unit. i just got mine installed month or so ago. had the same problem

you'll have to remove the gas tank buddy. after that, it will seem as simple as pie.

or cut a hole in the trunk above the tank, then you won't have to drop the tank. Which by the way, isn't much fun. Do a search on how to do it.

definately a waste of money to have someone do it for you.....just cut the hole like I said earlier.

I did the hole in the back of the car it is pretty easy only used 3 heavy duty craftsman disc for my dremel and in 1 hour it was done

just cut a little more on the rigth side to have easy acces to the fuel lines clips one of those gave me a little problem to get out.

Now I am just waithing for my Holley 255 pump
