  • Spark plug problem

    i went to autozone to check my engine light and had a misfire on 6 i was wondering if it would stil be ok to drive until the weekend becuse i dont have the money to buy new plugs or the time to change them
    if i was a pirate noone would have a car

    Are you sure it's not the #6 spark plug wire? The 3.8's have a bad history with that particular wire. It runs from the coil on the driver's side of the engine to the passenger side, crossing the top of the intake manifold. The Manifold heats up after a few minutes of driving, and soon it starts to cook through the wires passing over it.

    And "No", I wouldn't drive the car too far with a misfire.

      im not sure what it is but how would you check if it was the wire oh yea i tried to change the plugs, i could only change #5 the others i could get to it, and now it runs really rough and my ses blinks

        Best way to check is to replace them. Just be careful when re-routing the new wires.

          oh i need to change my wires no matter what now i tor one but my friend had alot and hes letting me use on its like twice as long as it should though
