Just wondering how some of the new v6's are hitting close to 300 horses, and why are 3.8's just can make 200?

Because our beloved 3800 Series II came out in 1995. They've come out with a little bit of technology in the past 10 years. ;)

Well Im pretty sure he meant stock..You can modify any V6 to make 300 + horses.

He probably wants to know why 2004/2005 V6 cars make more power than the 3800 Series V6's.

well lets see... the v6 altima 3.5L makes 265, and the GNX made 270-something or other (Turbo stock).

                ive never heard of a 300 HP N/A 6-er.

Yeah but 265 isnt exactly 300.The GNX was a turbo.I'd like to know what V6 made 300 Naturally aspirated stock.

I'm pretty sure the BMW M3 has a 3.3L v6 n/a with 330hp. Technology is the answer. F-bodies are the sh!t though so all those others can suck my @$$ :D

A lightweight, high-revving 3.5-liter VTEC V6 resides under the RL's aluminum hood, and the compact little six-cylinder manages to produce an impressive 350 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
