Lately I've noticed something funny under WOT. When I floor it I will feel a bumping and loss of power and it almost seems like my back left tire is on rocks. I have a 2001 with 49k miles with no codes whatsoever. Sometimes it will be worse than other times. Can anybody help me out???

I'll tell you whatever u need to know...I just had the transmission rebuilt about 4 months ago and it is still under warranty. Is it a distinctive "banging" noise coming from the rearend, noticable when you get on it from a stop or accelerating around a corner? The noise could be expained if your tranny mount is lose or damaged. The loss of power though..............?????? possibly clutch, tranny, rear main seal leaking onto the flywheel, differential.....any number of things. Do you notice your rpm's increase when it does this? no its not really like a banging noise its more like a bump...accelerate...bump etc but you cant rly hear it as much as I can feel it...my dad said it could be the motor mounts but he hasnt driven it yet to c if he knows for sure is that possible? !! my dads vans got the same thing i think. when he accelerates i feel bumps from his engine... especially underload and up hills. i have no idea what it is, we thought it might be the clutch or knocking or something, but his car has 205k on it so i dunno, lol99 WS6
