The majority of our sensors go out during the cold season? I got the P1153 the first time the temp dropped below 55 here, and I noticed that the car runs fine and the SES even disapears when it's above 55 Degrees.

Why is it that... (02 Sensor Question)

it might be because the sensor has been contamintaed. It need to reach 600 degrees before the sensor will be come conductive and start switching. When they are contaminted it takes longer to heat up. When you couple that with cold ambiant temps it would make sens that it takes longer to heat up and when it does the contamination prevents good contact with the 02 in the exhaust. That means that it will not switch fast enough and set the code. Once the exhaust gets hot enough it can burn off some of whats contaminating the eliment1996 Silver camaro Z28.
