  • HELP - problems while accelerating

I just got my '98 3000 camaro a couple of weeks ago and have been noticing that during acceleration, my car seems to be missing or is not in sync. My friend said he thought it might be bad plugs, but i had a mechanic look at it and he said they looked fine and didnt need replaced. He suggested to try using dry gas, but that didnt do a thing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Well start simple. I would suggest replacing the plugs, wires, and all 3 coil packs. Go all MSD if you can. It's not too bad, and they'll need to be replaced soon anyways (It's a GM car we're talking about here). And also try running some 93 octane. My car will miss on 87 for whatever reason, and even miss on midgrade at higher speeds/rpm.
