While coasting I have been, for like 2 years, hearing a slight noise coming from my rear of the car. I am sitting here trying to describe the noise but can not. Anyone help?

Is it a type of roaring sound or what? You're rear diff. fluid may need to be serviced. How consistent is the sound? Does the sound seem to be associated w/the speed of the vehicle, or is it constant? Is the noise worse when braking?2001 Onyx Black Camaro M5-Totalled
2005 Ford F150 XLT 5.4L

\"To make peace, prepare for war.\"

I know this sounds starnge but the best word to describe the sound is a Bubbleing sound. It only occurrs when I am decelerating and is coming from the rear of the car. My rear end fluid is checked each time I get the oil changed so I don't think its that. Its a strange thing to troubleshoot....1994, 3.4, 3.23, Dark Green
74,000 Miles as of 05/15/02
Have had tons of problems but still
love the darn thing,,,,

I can't believe it! Someone else has the same problem. I have been looking for this noise for 2 months (Since I got my 2000 Camaro). I'm not sure if it only happens during coast or whether you just can't hear it over the exhaust. Within the next week I will have a new Catback system so that will help ruleout exhaust. I'm going to check every connection under there in the process.
