Anyone know how to disable POWERLOCKS?

i am having some serious issues with mine. For some odd reason at random they will unlock, then immediately lock . i haven't noticed any pattern to when they do this. i tried getting a new alarm, but it didn't help. its a bit too quick to try and catch when they unlocking and locking by themselves, to try and open the door, but theft is still a concern. While my car is doing this, the alarm is still set, and sometimes it'll do it when i am driving down the road.

so i was wondering if antone knows if i can pull a fuse or something? i really don't wanna have to pull the panels off!

could it be a bad switch?? and just pull the cover off the fuse panel in your door it should say door locks and such....

fuse panel in my door? i have one on the driver's side dash, but it says nothing about the doors.

dont worry about disabling them... I think you should check the relay for them to see if its going bad, which it probably is...

I dont know here the relay box is for teh 3.8s, for the 3.4s its under the hood w/ the fuses... you gotta look on a wiring diagram to see which relay is for the power locks. In the 3rd gens the power lock relay wasnt even w/ other relays it was under the dash, behind the kick panel... best bet is to call a dealer's service department and ask them, if no one on here knows

no it wont, it will be a little black box and you'll need to find out where/which one it is, so look on a wiring diagram or ask the dealer's service center
