First off, this is pretty much for people in the NJ/NY/Tri-state area.
I need to reprogram my car for 3.42 gears. I got them put in but a tooth broke, however I'm getting a whole new rear axle setup that has 3.42s as well.
I don't have the money or need to really reprogram anything else at this time or send my PCM for a tune, just need it calibrated for the gears. I heard that Chevy dealers can but a friend of mine works at one and I had him ask, they said they don't have the tools for that.
Tim (njspder) suggested asking if anyone local has a programmer I could borrow or that they could lend me so I can calibrate for the gears.
Thanks a lot for any help.
