Earlier this week a light on my gauge panel went off that said "OIL CHANGE" which is probably scheduled maintenance type stuff but i got an oil change maybe 3 days before it came on. How do i reset this light? Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm not sure about the camaro, but on the 2000 Monte Carlo SS I worked on, to clear out the oil change light code we turned the ignition on and pressed the gas pedal to the floor 3 times. Using the scanner to remove it didn't work.
May sound absurd, but shouldn't hurt to try. -
